In order to build the community of Catholic songwriters and to help with the songwriting process, we have started the Catholic Song Podcast, a weekly series that will serve many purposes, one of which will be to provide all of our friends with song prompts.
Our song prompts are each a combination of music with sparks of lyrical ideas. The chord progressions will be combined with a rhythm, and we will provide you with audio, MIDI, and a PDF of the chords. The lyrical ideas will come from the Church’s Mass readings of the day, the Liturgical Calendar, the Saint(s) of the day, and other aspects of the Catholic faith.
